This is sort of hard to explain, though i'll try my best.
(This if for if there's zombies in the game)
Ver1:
Okay bear with me on this one, it will be a squad of about 6 players on a map designed for this gametype. The objective of this is for the squad to push through a hordes of charging zombies to the designated zone, which you'd have to capture, for which you would receive a massive amount of points for winning on top of the points acquired for killing zombies.
Also periodically in the map there should be a "safe zone" where you replenish ammo and health/whatever special things scribs is putting into the game. (this part im iff on) I think the zombies should try to swarm you at all times as your pushing through and "safe zones" should have man-able or automated turrets to kill zombies charging at your re-gen site.
Im not sure if the zombies should be aggressive, territorial, passive aggressive, defensive (only attack when attacked) or what, or if they should walk around like lame ducks... Though personally i'd think it'd be nice for them to charge you when you get in their range.
Also i think the zombies should respawn and they respawn quicker and in more numbers the closer you get to the zone.
Ver 2: Same premise as above.
Sort of like a scouting/reconnaissance type of thing where you and your team must go to the zone and retrieve an item then return to base with it, all the while zombies are trying to rape you. Of course you'd receive more points in this mode.
When you die in either game modes your out for 2 minutes, i think thats fair, stresses caution and teamwork. When you come in your health is re-stored at half of the max.

I will be making a couple maps using the pt map editor to give an idea of how gameplay would be and how design of re-gen sites and etc would look.
